I’ve been loving Undaunted: North Africa this week. Maybe a little too much! Some long nights. Whose played Normandy? Any other Great War games out there you’d recommend?
I've not played too many wargames but I really enjoy playing Memoir 44 with my eldest son. I want to check out Undaunted but as most wargames are 2 player and my wife isn't keen it'll probably be a while!
Either that or one that plays 3-4 players as then I could bring it to my board game group. There may well be some games that fit the bill but I haven't done too much research - too many other good games to play!
Yeah fair point. The choice is almost endless. D Day at Omaha beach or Advanced squad leader (which is crazy hard) are both phenomenal solo war games. 1775 Rebellion is great 2 or 4 and a bit more mid range so good for groups. But I’d recommend Fire in the lake, set in Vietnam. Plays solo or up to a 4 and is supposed to be amazing! That’s on my list for sure!
